Unless otherwise agreed in writing, all shipments are F.O.B. a determined shipping point. Valor Plastics will determine the point of shipment, the method of transportation, and the routing of shipment. All freight charges are the responsibility of the plastic tank purchaser. Purchasers requesting shipment by a method other than that of Valor Plastics selection will be billed for any additional charges incurred before, during or after transport. Valor Plastics will attempt to make shipments of the plastic tanks by the routing requested by the purchaser but makes no guarantee. All added accessories fees will be charged to the customer. (i.e. residential, lift-gate, re-consignment). It is the consumer's responsibility to inform Valor Plastics prior to delivery if the location for delivery cannot accept a 53’ trailer. Deliveries that cannot be made due to vehicle size or access restriction will be billed as delivered. If a delivery is possible with another vehicle, re-delivery will be made and an additional delivery fee will be charged.
Trucks up to 65’ in length may deliver your plastic tanks. In most cases, they cannot enter private driveways or roads, as there is insufficient room to maneuver the delivery truck and turn around. When this is the case, arrangements must be made prior to delivery of your plastic tanks to a location to the nearest public road access to the original shipment address.
The act of signing for delivery on the BOL is the acceptance that your plastic tank has arrived undamaged. The person who signs the Proof of Delivery (POD) when tanks are delivered must note any visible damage or concerns on the POD. Often, the damage is done to a piece that can easily be replaced. If you have questions regarding the condition of the plastic tank please call Valor Plastics while the driver is still there at the location and before you sign the delivery receipt, then we will gladly help you with a resolution. Surface scratches and scuffs can happen when the plastic tank is in transit. Surface scratches will not impact the plastic tank's structural integrity or void your warranty and this does not constitute damage of the plastic tank. Please take pictures, if possible, and contact Valor Plastics immediately upon discovery for evaluation and proper resolution. You do not have to accept the plastic tank if you have any questions regarding the condition of the plastic tank, please refuse the plastic tank or note damage on the delivery receipt and contact Valor Plastics immediately.
Tanks can and may become dirty and/or scuffed in transit. This does not constitute a damaged plastic tank.
Our plastic tanks ship from Valor Plastics manufacturers in good and new condition. Once the plastic tanks are turned over to the shipper, damage can occur. If there is no notation of damage on the signed BOL, the buyer has accepted that the plastic tank has arrived, has been inspected and is in good condition. It is very important that the buyers thoroughly look over the plastic tanks for damage and if there is damage, they are required to note it on the BOL or refuse the plastic tank.
Notify Valor Plastics immediately if the tank is damaged.
